Now on DVD

TORONTO ROCKS (Rhino/TGA, 102 mins., not rated, $19.99) At the height of last summer's SARS scare, the Rolling Stones, the Guess Who, Rush and other groups gave a benefit concert to show would-be tourists that Toronto's air was safe. The DVD captures the headline moment when front-rowers threw stuff at Justin Timberlake as he joined Mick Jagger on "Miss You," prompting Keith Richards to step up and challenge the assailants.

Anyone seen this official DVD yet? I have the bootleg version. I was at the show, had a blast.

Hi from Belgium - as a Fan of the RS I had to have this DVD - bought it yesterday in Paris on the Champs Elysees - yep but guess what I watched it and must say I was very disappointed yes my friends I said disappointed ... worth version of Satisfaction I ever heard - did not like the invitees besides ACDC ... not what I expected - still I remain a fan after almost 40 long years and I had to say this. Sorry guys - let me know what you think. Obviously the band had fun together on stage and Keith had a little moment of go at someone throwing stuff on stage. Voila - bye bye. Malou

I think it was a show you really had to attend to appreciate. It was not the best Stones show or anything by far, but it was the atmosphere of the 500,000 people that made it a unique experience. I am so glad I attended. May I recommend getting the bootleg dvd version of the full Stones show, which is much better than the official release which only features a few songs. Keith did a killer version of the Nearness of You and yes, he did have a go at someone in the audience after they threw stuff at Justin Timberlake. Keith hates when people disrespect musicians, no matter who they are...and when they mess with his "turf". My other highlight from the show was Ruby Tuesday. There was something wrong with the Stones sound in the beginning of their set. AC/DC was great, the rest of the acts I could take or leave...but I didn't get to the show until 6pm so I misssed a lot of the earlier stuff.
