Tickets Going Fast
Permalink

As you have probably heard, many people were shut out tickets during the presales and general public sales that began this week. There were special presales for RS.COM members, 2 different days depending on when you joined, also presales for American Express card holders, and then the general public sales which began yesterday.

I knew several fans online yesterday morning who all tried unsuccessfully for tickets to Boston & Washington, DC and both shows were sold out in the first 5 minutes!

This leads me to believe that not all tickets have been released yet. They are filling the rafters and bad seats before they release the rest of the good seats on the floor and the sides.

They have announced a second show for Boston and for San Francisco too. I am sure other cities will follow. They also have not added all the dates on the first leg yet and haven't even begun to announce the club shows-which is what most RS.COM members are holding onto their presale codes for.

Did anyone here have success with tickets to far?

hey y'all!

As a london stones nut i've one whole year to wait... me and my girl went to twickenham two years ago in a limo with champagne, some jack and a few liveners (it was our anniversary). It was an expensive day... but of course keith and the boys blew our minds as always.

I won't go to the shows this time around - the expense is just too much. what happened to the days of £10 tickets for patient fans (shepherd's bush '99)? or indeed the lyrics to salt of the earth?

Is it just me?

One love,

tom x

Hi Tom, I was in Twickenham as well last time and I must say I had an extremely expensive ticket. It was worth every minute though.
The travel expenses weren't as high as the ticket prices ...   (easyjet takes you everywhere in Europe at low fares ...). Being a hard-core Stones fan ever since, I will think twice this time whether I'm willing to pay these prices. It's a shame. Maybe I'm going to see one or two shows only.

You're not the only one....

Greetings from Berlin/Germany

It's always worth it, but this tour is even more expensive. The shows outside the US are always cheaper, much cheaper. I could see 4 shows in Europe for the price of one almost!

At opening night in Boston last Sunday we had 7th row Ronnie's side, which was a great view of the stage, BUT the price was $478 per ticket!!!! See my Boston review above in a different post.
