So, everyone knows that an official tour announcement is on its way within the next few weeks, right? Web based & media rumors say the tour will begin in Boston at the end of August-at Fenway Park. Other baseball parks, such as my hometown of Pittsburgh's PNC Park are also rumored.
What cities and towns around the globe do you hope to see the Stones in this tour?
I hope to attend at least 25 shows this tour, beating my record from last tour, in cities such as Boston, NY, Philly, Pittsburgh, DC, Toronto, Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, San Francisco, Las Vegas...and I'd like to branch out and do some cities I never saw the Stones in before, such as Miami or out of the way places like Oklahoma City. I usually do a few European shows each tour, and I'd like to go back to London this time, but it's always tough to pass up Amsterdam. And, South America is always a possibility too...

Blue Lena! Its an honor to communicate with you! I've seen your sites over the years and always check in - but now that Keefs website is no longer - I'm checking in here frequently. Being from Jersey - I'm hoping highly that ma' boyz will announce their touring again creatively in the canals of Manhattan..! After that, I kinda hope the small venues are again hit - only this time - I'm hungrier more than ever to get a ticket to the smaller party places. I always wished Keef would tour solo in the Northeast - but it seems the boys are stickin together in their gigs more than ever. I did meet keef (not as many times as you!) in 1992ish in Manhattan at a CD signing. A "good memory" day to say the least. I definatley love my boys, am proud of 'em and am extremely proud to be a groupie for these guys. Older is definately better for them.. Later Lena! - donna from jersey
Hi Blue Lena, thank you very much for posting this. Good news, as I've heard nothing but rumours so far but now it seems to come true. Being from Europe I am of course more interested in European venues which will surely come only in 2006. Thanks very much, I'm a bit in a rush today. Prague is certainly a city I would love to visit. I know it was a favorite of some of the Stones last tour, so perhaps they will visit there again. Keep your fingers crossed.

Haven't been around for a while due to health probs but seems to be ok now. I want to apologize to the people who visit Yap Yap for not being on my own message board very much since May! After the tour announcement I became so busy catching up on daily Stones stuff and putting together the next issue of Stones Planet Fanzine (due early Sept. that I never even made it in here.
I managed to get to the Toronto secret gig Aug. 10 & was just at opening night in Boston on Aug. 21, both reviews can be found on the Shrine under News. Next up for me is Chicago Sept. 10.
The boys are in fine form, looking and sounding brilliant. Opening night there were some glitches and mess ups, but that's to be expected. I think everyone will enjoy the new songs very much! The On-Stage seats are interesting, but if you already have good floor seats near the main or B stage, don't trade them in!
